Designing Trust for AI Shopping Agent
Wizard AI • Staff Product Designer @ Wizard Commerce Inc.
An AI shopping agent's hardest problem isn't recommending. It's being believed. I designed Wizard's trust layer — justification that names what a product is bad at, sources you can open and check, and a price-history policy I had to write myself because no data provider could cover us. It ended with me arguing to make my own feature less prominent.

A Design System in 30 Days, a Second Platform in Six Weeks
Wizard AI • Staff Product Designer @ Wizard Commerce Inc.
I joined Wizard as the only designer and shipped the design system in my first month — 192 variables in a three-tier hierarchy, ~96 component sets. Ten weeks later it ported to native iOS in a single day, then scaled to 102 components and 24 flows. Both were possible because I built it to be read by coding agents, not just by people.

Building it is expensive. Deciding what to build should not be.
Wizard AI • Staff Product Designer @ Wizard Commerce Inc.
Three proposed search modes were already being scoped, but Figma could not simulate the latency and progressive loading that would determine whether they worked. I built a coded prototype, ran seven moderated sessions, and translated conflicting feedback into a progressive search strategy that leadership approved and resourced in eight days, with zero engineering hours.

Building Design System for AI Platform
Nova • Sr. UX Designer @ Amazon
Nova's surfaces had been built by different teams at different times, and it showed. I built the system that unified them — component toolkits, motion standards, and accessibility tokens — so a feature shipping on one Nova surface looks and behaves like a feature shipping on any other. It now powers the suite.

Defining the UX of AI Response
Nova • Sr. UX Designer @ Amazon
An LLM returns text. People need something they can act on. Visual Response is a system of response types — cards that change shape based on what the model is actually saying, whether that's a comparison, a list, a plan, or a single number. It became Nova's standard for rendering model output.

When Voice and Screen Have to Agree
Alexa + • UX Designer II @ Amazon
On a screen, you read at your own pace. In a room, the device sets the pace — and voice, visuals, and timing all have to agree or the response falls apart. Visual Narrative is the framework that coordinates them, so an Alexa answer unfolds as one thing across sound and screen instead of two things competing.

Making Nova's Gallery Worth Browsing
Nova • Sr. UX Designer @ Amazon
Nova's gallery stored what people made, but gave them no reason to look at anyone else's. I rebuilt it as a discovery surface — a masonry framework that scales across output types, and a browse loop where looking leads to making. Daily creation rose 63%.
